Follow These Steps:

Step 2: Copy the Embed Code

Click to copy the embed code -- you’ll paste this code into Canvas in the next step.

Step 3: Create a Page in Canvas

  1. In Canvas, create a new Page.

  2. Switch to the HTML editor (look for the angle brackets <>).

  3. Paste the embed code into the code editor — not the Rich Content Editor.

  4. Click Save and Publish.

Step 4: Decide How Students Will Access It

You have two options for sharing the planner with students:

  • Option 1: Front Page
Make this page your front page, so students see it the moment they land in the course.

  • Option 2: Course Navigation
Add the page to the green course menu using the Redirect Tool, so it shows up as a permanent navigation link.

Step 5: Test It Out

  • Switch to Student View in Canvas.

  • Make sure your Common Curriculum Planner displays correctly -- whether in Day View, Week View, or Unit View.

Pro Tip: Want students to land directly on the Day View? Edit the embed code by adding this to the end of the URL: ?perspective=day
