How do I search for lessons I’ve already written?

The "Search Lessons" button in Cc only lets you search for old lessons in your current planbook. It won't let you search for lessons written by other people. That's a cool idea, but just to be clear, but Cc does not do that right now.

  1. Go to the upper right hand corner of your planbook and press "Search"

Shows planbook screen and points an arrow to the search button in the upper right hand corner.

2. Type in the search bar the title of the lesson plan you are searching for and your matches will appear!

When I try to upload a document from Google Drive, I am logged into the wrong account, what should I do?

To fix this issue, first log out of Common Curriculum. Then, go to Google Drive in the same browser. Log out of the current account you are in, then log in to the account you want. After this is complete, log back into Cc and you should see the correct account!

How do I save my lesson plans?

Your work in Cc will automatically save! As long as you have a working internet connection, all your work will be backed up in your Cc account every 3/4 of a second.

Note: If you are having issues with any of your lesson plans saving, please reach out to [email protected]. In your email, include the answers to the following questions so we can better troubleshoot and solve your issue more quickly:

  1. Are you seeing any "Offline" notices at the top of your screen while you are planning?

  2. What internet browser(s) were you using when the lessons disappeared?

  3. Can you go to your history function and see if past versions of your lessons were saved?

I am having trouble editing my lessons, what do I do?

If you are having trouble editing your lessons, refer to the "Writing your first lesson plan" article and see if that helps answer any of your questions!

How do I undo an action?

Accidentally moved a lesson or card in Common Curriculum and want to reverse the action? The Undo feature provides a convenient way to correct mistakes and restore your lesson plan.

Undoing Recent Actions

To reverse a recent action, such as an accidental move of a lesson or card, follow these simple steps:

  1. Locate the Undo button in the navigation bar.

  2. Click "Undo" to immediately reverse your most recent change. This works effectively for one or multiple actions taken during the current session.

Tips for Using the Undo Feature

  • Always keep your browser session active while making changes you may want to reverse.

  • Undo works only during the current session, so remember to finalize your corrections before closing your browser or navigating away. By leveraging these features, you can easily manage your lesson plans and quickly adapt to changes or errors as needed.

Shows the planbook page and an arrow to the Undo button in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
