Printing Individual Lessons

So if you have CC basic, you can print individual lessons. So how you do that is you just go into an individual lesson menu, and you click on that, and then you'll see print or download. So the things that you can print, you can also download. So if you just want to download a document that you need to email or put into, your resources somewhere, you can also do that too.

Customizing Print Options

But this is how you print. You just click the print. You do have some options here. If you want to change the name of what's in the header, you can do that.

You can change that.

You can change your font size.

Displaying Standards and Comments

You can show the standards in your lessons or only the code.

You can if there's comments in your plan book, you can hide those, and then you can also choose your orientation landscape or portrait, and you can only show certain cards if you want to. So you can print all of the cards in your lesson, so standards, objective, procedures, accommodations, and modifications.

If there's only certain cards, you're gonna turn this on, and then you wanna type it out exactly as you have it named in your card, and it is case sensitive.

So if you only want the objective card to show, then you can type in objective and make sure that see, I spelled that wrong because I wasn't paying attention. So it wouldn't show up. If I entered it like that, it wouldn't show up. So objective, and I make sure I capitalize that o because the o is capitalized, and then a comma, no spaces.

And then let's say I also want the procedures card to show up.

So objective, make sure that matches, comma, no spaces, procedures. Those are the two cards I want to show up. So then I can click on print, and then I'll show you what that looks like.

Okay. So this is the individual lesson, and as you can see, the only the objective card and the procedures card shows up. If you want your whole lesson, then just make sure that that option is toggled off.

Okay. So that's how you print individual lessons.

Printing Outlines and Different Views

The other thing that you can print in free the free version is your outline.

So this shows just all of the titles of your lessons and then what day that that lesson is happening on, and you can print that if you would like to. So you just go up to print, then you just print, and then it will show up pretty much just like this.

Okay. Other options for print you can print in the day view if you want to do it that way. If you like planning in the day view, you can print there. You can also print the week view.

All these views, there are things that you can print. So if I want to print this whole week, all of the classes, I can just hit the print button in the week view, and then you have those options here, and then you have the same option to only show certain cards. So if you click toggle that on and you only want your objective or your procedures, whatever you want, type that in. It's only gonna print those certain cards.

Okay. And then you have a couple of options here. If you want page breaks, like, you want breaks between each lesson, make sure that that is turned on.

Or if you don't wanna waste a bunch of paper, then make sure that that is turned off if your lessons are shorter.

Filtering Classes for Printing

Okay. So other options, you can print only certain classes if you want to. So this is how like, if you only wanted to print off this earth and sciences class the whole week, like, in your week view, you see all of your classes. Right? So you have earth sciences, you know, your lunch duty, lab period, everything shows up here.

If I click print, all of these classes are gonna show up. Right? So if you only want one class, but you want the whole week, so earth sciences, this is where you can use your range and filter option, and you can filter which classes show up on your screen. So I'm going to unselect lab period and lunch duty, and that way I can only see earth sciences.

So that's the only class showing up in my week view now. So then when I go to print, it's only that class. So you click print, show you what that looks like, and now it's only showing Earth sciences.

Go back.

Okay. I'm just gonna toggle these back on. So then if you only wanted to print, like, your lunch duty or your lab period, just use that rearrange and filter, and then you can pick out exactly what you want to show up.

Okay.

Other options let me make sure I'm getting everything here.

Month View Printing

Okay. So onto your month view, you can print your month if you would like to, but it's only going to show the titles of your lessons. It's not actually going to print out all the details of your lessons. So it will show you can print your month, but it will show the titles of your lesson.

The outline view, like I said earlier, print that, but it's just gonna show the titles, not your actual details of your lessons.

Unit Timeline Printing

And you can print in your unit timeline.

So you can't actually print an overview of just the timeline, but you can print the units themselves and your lessons within those units. So I have this unit here, my unit one. I'm gonna click on this. I'm gonna show my unit in my sidebar, and here is my unit plan.

So here's everything I have for my unit plan for this unit. This is the unit menu, and you have the option to print or download. So you can click on that, and then here you have some options. So you can only show certain cards if you want to, just like with the individual lessons. You can print a unit outline. You also have the option to print all of the lessons within that unit along with your unit plan.

So I do want to print the lessons. I do want to print the outline, and I'm gonna go ahead and click print just to show you what that looks like.

Okay. So here is my unit.

Here's all of my unit plans, and I have that toggle on to print the outline. So here is the outline, and then I also had it toggled on to print all of the lessons within the unit. So as you keep scrolling down, all of your lessons within that unit are going to show up.

Okay. Go back.

But, again, you get to that. I'm gonna show you again how to get to that. So in your unit timeline, you click on the unit, show unit in the sidebar, click on your unit menu, and then printer download. And then, again, you have these options. So if you just wanna print the unit plan, just make sure you have these turned off. So you don't want the outline. We don't wanna print the lessons.

Also, you have the option to, rename the header if you would like to. So you could name that, you know, Bayley's human science unit one if you wanted to. Whatever you wanna call that, you can do that.

Standards Tracker Printing

K. Click out of this, and then the other printing options you have is for your standards tracker.

Now click into the standards tracker.

So this is where you can see your courses that you have, the standard sets you use in those courses, and if you've used them or not, and in what lessons you've used them.

So right now, I am in earth sciences.

The Maryland science grade six through eight is the standards that I'm looking at. So over here, it's showing me all the standards and then the dates and lessons. I've used those standards in. I can click and open up those lessons if I want to, but you can print off this report.

So whether this report is for yourself or maybe you have an admin, or someone asking, hey. What standards have you used this year, and when did you use those standards? How many times? You can print off this report for them.

So you could hit print, and then you can print or download if you wanna send it in an email or something or hold onto it for your records.

Print this.

Okay. So here we go. Standards coverage report, and it's going to be as of the day that you print it. So there you go. It shows you the all the individual standards, the days you use them, and then how many lessons you use those standards in. If you scroll down, it's gonna give you a report for all of the standards in that set.

K. I'm gonna go back.

Hiding Covered Standards

Check my time here, make sure I'm staying under. K. I'm a little over my ten minutes, but I'm gonna show you something else really quick. So you can hide the standards that you've covered. So if you wanna print out a report that only shows the standards that you haven't covered yet, you just click that, hiding standards that have been covered, and then you go ahead and click print and print off that report.

Okay. So that's the end.
