6. Once here, you can change the name of your template by clicking the "My new template" text at the top. You can also add standards or cards to your template.
7. Next, click "Done" and you will be taken back to the "Planbook Settings" page. Here, you can add more templates or click the "X" in the top right corner to be taken back to your planbook.
A Note on How Templates Work:
When you edit a template, any changes you make will not affect lessons you've already edited. Even if all you did was type a space in a lesson, once you've edited it, it will not longer be updated if you update its template.
Cc works this way to ensure that changing your template doesn't accidentally overwrite and delete lessons that you've spent hours working on.
Customize Template
Open the Settings Menu
Click on "Templates"
3. Go to a class and click "Customize" on the right side of the box.
4. Once clicking "Customize" then your current template will appear in the bottom right corner.
5. Once done customizing, click "Done" at the bottom of the box.
When I update a template, will it affect all of my lessons?
No, when you update your template Cc only updates blank lessons that you haven't touched yet. That way, you won't lose any work if you happen to plan a lesson, and then later you decide to update your template! If you accidentally typed something in a lesson but you don't care about it and you want the lesson to update to your new template, try the "replace with template" button.
Delete a Template
Open the Settings Menu
Click on "Templates"
Under "Sort Templates By" click "Template Name"
4. Deselect the classes from the template that you wish to delete
If you do not do this, then a message saying "This template can't be deleted until it's removed from the classes that are using it" will appear on your screen.
5. Your screen should look like it does under "My new template" once all classes are deselected.
6. Click "Delete" and then click the "Are you sure?" button.
